Crush 2025 is the event everyone will be talking about afterwards. Crush combines social responsibility and the renewal of working life, with the mission to make Finland the first country where the gender gap is closed. This year, the Crush event will be held at the Helsinki Stock Exchange Building on May 14, 2025 and the theme is rebel together.
##### Emmy x Crush Collaboration
Emmy is partnering with Crush to enable fundraising for the event by handling the sale of donated clothes on behalf of Crush. The proceeds from the sale of clothes donated to Crush will be directed to benefit the Crush Movement.
The Crush Collection is now published in Emmy’s online store. The selection includes empowering and trusted items from donors – branded clothes that carry a strong message and story. By purchasing, you support the advancement of gender equality and help make the Crush event possible.

When the world is in turmoil and the news is full of worry and sorrow, the sponsorship situation for the Crush event has been extremely challenging this spring. The event organizer, Katja Presnal, decided to overcome the challenges and even sell the shirt off her back to ensure the annual event can take place this year as well.
Katja’s strong determination sparked the idea to harness collective power and cooperation for the benefit of the event. What if more people sold the shirt off their back or several unused clothes from their closet, and the proceeds were directed to make the Crush event happen? Since this year’s Crush theme is 'rebel together', joining forces during the event’s build-up phase is a naturally fitting element and, on the other hand, a very concrete example of the power of collaboration.
Katja’s stakeholders and contacts have gladly accepted the donation challenge, and the word is spreading through enthusiastic donors to an ever-wider audience. ##### Donation Instructions for Crush:
- donate only clean, intact, and up-to-date branded clothing
- pack the clothes neatly in a reusable bag and write EMMYCRUSH on the bag
- slip a note inside the bag: Crush donation + your email address
- include a short story about the item you are donating
- deliver the clothes to an Emmy sales box or by mail using Emmy’s contract code 650 432
##### Please note before donating:
- Check if your item is on Emmy’s brand list by entering the brand in the field "Is the item on the brand list?".
- Emmy does not list fast fashion, fur, counterfeit products, damaged or worn-out clothes for sale.
- If your donated item is not accepted for sale, it will be forwarded for resale to Emmy’s domestic partner.
What should you donate?
To ensure your donated item sells quickly and at the best possible price, it’s best to donate especially good-condition branded spring and summer season clothes, bags, and shoes for women, men, and children. A good rule of thumb is to donate something you yourself would consider buying second hand right now.
