1) Decide

When inspiration strikes, it's best to act right away. Especially when it comes to cleaning out your wardrobe and getting rid of old clothes. Motivation fades quickly and the task is easily left as just a thought unless you can move your items forward as soon as you feel like it. Booking a spot at a flea market requires time and waiting until your sales turn begins. You can easily and quickly fill out Emmy’s sales shipment form online and get your sales project started as soon as inspiration hits.

2) Choose

Through Emmy, you can sell all sizes of good-condition branded women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, shoes, accessories, sunglasses, and bags. We are also happy to accept maternity wear as well as handmade, professionally sewn and knitted clothes and accessories. Because we want to offer our customers a high-quality alternative to disposable consumption, we only accept genuine branded clothing for sale. Before selling, remember to check Emmy’s list of accepted brands and clothing and packing instructions.

3) Check

Before you pack the clothes, do a quick check: are the clothes free of dirt or stains, are all snaps and buttons intact, is the zipper working and undamaged, and is the surface of the garment intact and tidy? Does the branded item have a neck label or other brand identifier in place? If you want your clothes to sell, only send clean and intact items for sale.

4) Pack

Pack the items you want to sell neatly and carefully in a sealed package. Please note the packing requirements for different delivery methods. For example, with Emmy home pickup, items must be packed in a cardboard box, but for Emmy’s sales box, you can also use reusable bags or sturdy plastic bags. You can include women’s, men’s, and children’s clothes in the same shipment. We will sort the items before selling.

5) Send

The fastest and easiest way is to drop your clothing package into an Emmy sales box, which are located all around Finland. Find your nearest sales box here.

You can also leave your clothing package at the Post either at the contract customers’ drop-off point, the service desk, or a Post parcel locker.

You can also send your package via Matkahuolto, either by dropping it off at any Matkahuolto service point or parcel locker.

In certain postal code areas, Emmy’s home pickup service is also available. The service is available in selected postal code areas on weekdays from 16:00 to 22:30. Home pickup is purchased from Emmy’s online store and is carried out in cooperation with Budbee. We recommend downloading the Budbee app to your phone.

You can also bring your clothing package directly to Emmy’s office in Lohja. By bringing your items directly, you save the 6.90 € handling fee per sales batch.

6) Done!

From here on, Emmy takes care of everything. You’ll receive a notification by email when your package has arrived in Lohja and moves on to processing. We will sort, photograph, price, and list your items for sale in our online store on your behalf. When your items find a new owner, we will pack and ship them for you and handle the payment transactions once the sale is complete.

We publish new items for sale every Monday as a Monday Must-haves collection or on Thursdays in the Uutuustorstai selection. You’ll be notified by email when your items have been added to the Emmy online store selection. Through the link in the email, you can track how your clothes are selling.

Easy, isn’t it?
